Looking for a straight/clean set of DMV clear '63 truck/commercial plates. Show me what you have and give me a price. I'll check to see if they are clear if you don't know. Must be original, not interested in restored plates. Could be worth a few hundred for the right ones.

Bruce, here's a number to a guy I deal with in Fresno who sells plates, I see him at a lot of auto swapmeets, a straight up guy (older USMC veteran) maybe he can help you, John R Serio (559) 226-4972

Whatever you do find, just know that Rene's wife does refurbishments as a side job and does amazing work. Here's my plates AFTER the refurb. I don't have pics of before, but they were pretty rough.

What's the difference between 63 CA car and truck plates? I have the original, mint, 63 plates from my 65 Impala that came from CA.

Look at the plate in the post just above yours. One letter then five numbers. later, they switched to five numbers then one letter.
