Best place to buy restoration parts 88-98

Ok it is about time for me to buy some stuff for my DD and there was a place called CK Resto and I know the name has changed. Can some of you please give me a list of the best places to buy some parts. I need new door panels first and foremost but will need some other stuff.

Thanks PT

CKResto went out of business. They dont sell chevy parts anymore.
Classicparts.com
lmc.com
I downloaded the acdelco catalog and google part numbers to get the best price on anything acdelco.
I havent found any place that has more stuff than lmc.

I sure wish they were still around. They had lots of great parts.

I second LMC. I got a lot of pieces/parts from them when fixing mine up.

If you need body panels Mill Supply up here in Cleveland had the stuff I needed at decent prices. I'm sure they can ship whatever you need or there may be somewhere locally that carries body panels: http://millsupply.com/. I had mixed success with Certifit pieces when Mill didn't have what I needed.

Also the dealer still might have some stuff. I've got some parts from my local chevy dealer. Rubber stuff like door and window seals.

What do you guys do about door panels? LMC is overpriced and not the same style as OEM. I guess junkyards are the only option?

For the interior a junkyard would be your best bet. Some salvage yards will ship if you can't find what you need locally.

LMC sells junk. I bought a sunvisor from them, the metal rod that goes from the visor into the headliner snapped in half after 3 months for no reason. I bought a impact molding with chrome for my front bumper, the "chrome" has cracked and is peeling off less then a year later. Two products in a year, both failed. They won't be getting my business again.

I agree. Although LMC sells alot of the same aftermarket parts (same brands i think). CKRESTO was only about a hr from my house. It was nice to look at the parts in your hands before you bought them to see if it was quality or not. They told me Mustangs is what they started the business with and that was their bread and butter and they would be focusing on that again. This was a couple yrs ago.

PT if you run across OEM (acdelco?) cab/bed/core support bushings let me know. Ive been looking for weeks and can only find "like oem" and "same oem quality" parts.

Re: Best place to buy restoration parts 88-98

Classic Industries sells the door panels, with the upholstry kit sold seperately, but its stupid expensive, and from what I can tell still not exactly like the original.
Of all things,I've often pondered why nobody makes an affordable replacement for one of the most needed items on our trucks.
