Truck world seat covers
Hello.........been hearing alot about "truck world" seat covers, but have no idea how to get ahold of them directly, or if that is even the name of the business. Ive searched the internet, but cant come up with a number. Ive heard Jerry Browns name pop up a couple times from the truck shop, so Im not sure if he is the only I can go through, or go direct.
thanks, Greg

Re: Truck world seat covers
I have never had any luck finding them directly. Board vendor "Truckseats" carries them.

Re: Truck world seat covers
They do not sell retail only to vendors, I can help you if you are not able to find anyone else.

Re: Truck world seat covers
Have any of you other Truck World Vendors been getting screwed around with when it comes to getting your prepaid orders sent/shipped out? We are trying to figure out what is going on out there in Springfield and also can anyone of you confirm if everything is alright/good with Larry as we have been e-mailing and leaving phone messages? Thanks for any input, Mel/Classic Bowties.

Re: Truck world seat covers
Are they better than PUI?

Re: Truck world seat covers
I'd say every bit as good, but what's really cool is you can get non-standard color combos..

I like my truck world seatcovers that I bought from "Truckseats" Took about 6 weeks but worth the wait.

Yes I have been in contact with Larry at least a couple times a week if not more. As far as wait times it definitely varies a good bit. There are times it takes a little longer to hear back. Not sure if this helps or not. |

Re: Truck world seat covers
Here's a couple pictures of a PUI bucket seat cover and a Truckworld bucket seat cover. Notice the difference in the depth of the Cheyenne scroll and the extra stitching on the Truckworld cover. The Truckworld covers are made to order in the USA. Yes the rumors are true, you will pay a little more and wait longer. You just have to ask yourself how long you're going to have your truck and what you want in it for seat covers. If you go with Truckworld covers just allow a little extra time and order earlier. I am not talking down PUI covers at all, I have had them before and had no complaints. I just found a product I like better and we only carry products made in the USA.
Here is a quote from Jonathan (VA72C10) on one of his seat rebuilding threads: "Here's something I wanted to point out. I had been getting all my covers from PUI which I thought were really nice and heard that from several people....however, board vendor Truckseats sells covers that are even nicer. The vinyl on them is the top grade vinyl sold according to my upholstery guy....and they use a double stitched seam as seen in these pictures.... Also notice how well defined the scroll pattern is...." Here is the link to his thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=495735&page=4 |
