What Throttle Cable to use?

I have an edlebrock 1406 and I am finally getting my truck back together. Bought a new throttle cable bracket (same as my old one) and the pedal does not seem to fully open the throttle. Wondering if anyone is using a different cable like a Lokar or something.

Also having problems with the detent (kickdown) cable for my T350.

OPen to ideas. Will try to get some pics cause I know we all like em!

Re: What Throttle Cable to use?

I used the Lokar pedal for my 67 truck and it worked great. The only debate was drilling out the two threaded weldnuts for clearance holes. Turns out wasn't a huge deal and it works really well.
