Looks like a pretty good deal on a 1972 GMC Short bed. http://terrehaute.craigslist.org/cto/3980798154.html It has Power steering, Power brakes, Air Conditioning, bench seat, coil spring rear suspension. Also comes with a 700r4 transmission that he thinks is out of a late 70's Firebird. If I get time I am going to go check it out, it is probably 40 miles from me.

What I just got quoted for paint and body I could buy that whole truck! Problem is I have no money for paint or another truck

700R4 didn't come from any 70's Firebird. Or any 2nd gen f-body. Sounds like a pretty close deal though!

Understand that. I do not think this is fresh show quality but good driver condition and I really doubt one could be built to this quality for this amount.

I would like to own it but I have 2 problems. I do not have any roof space to keep it under either and I just bough another parts hauling truck and it drained my play money. Hopfully it will go to a good home soon or I might just have to see what I can figure out.
