Did I open up a can of worms or what? I don't know about pickups but you could get the 353 detroit diesel in early 60s series 50 trucks because I have the brochure laying right in front of me. Anyway, back to the 153, I was always told that the early 60s 153 ci 4 cylinder was the Iron Duke and I think they are so cute I have alway tried to collect them. I have 4 of the original early 60s motors, one with the air cooled powerglide trans and 3 of the made in mexico nock offs made for the later mercury boats.
