will a 2104 Edelbrock bolt onto older heads?

I know the two center holes are different somehow, but will it still work?

The center bolt holes are angeled more up than the rest. you can get it on but you will need to elongate the holes alittle(3/8's drill bit works well),the other problem is the bolts won't sit flush on the intake anymore so you will need to grind the lower side of the bolt head flange on the intake. It sounds harder than it is, 20 minutes and a air grinder with a non'ferrus bit and your done.

K good, I traded a cd player for the Intake, and I pick up the motor from the mahcine shop tommorow, and I would have been pretty cheesed if it didnt fit.

The motor that it is going on is for my 1970 Monte, a 383 stroker, 9.81:1 compression, forged pistons, forged rods, forged crank, ported and polished 202's, double roller timing chain, that should go not bad eh?

Sounds like a screamer, just remember to take your time, check it twice, cause you can only cut and trim once.
