Exclamation New door glass not fitting

I just got a call from the guy installing the glass door on my 66 truck. I bought the new glass from LMC, he is telling me the new glass is about 1/4" shorter than the old glass. He is telling me the glass does not go all the way to the top because of this. Does any one had any issues before with new door glass. Is 1/4" too much. Thanks

Re: New door glass not fitting

Hate to say it, but that's about typical fitment of most of LMC's parts anymore.

The green tape is the edge of the new glass, the tape behind is the old glss, it looks like is more than 1/4"

That's ridiculous, can't believe they sell those like that! Get him to double check that the bottom U-channel is coming up through the inner/outer wipes at the bottom. Sometimes that's tight and makes it seem like the glass won't roll all the way up, especially with new wipes.
