What size wheels & tires should I run? 18" or 20"???

Just bought a 94 swb fleet side.
Going to Drop it 4/6 on Friday.

What size wheels should I run.

18"'s or 20"s.

This will be a every day truck.

I would like to know what Y'all are running for wheel size and tire size.

And what issues do you have with this size tires.

Pictures of your trucks would help.

Thanks.

Re: What size wheels & tires should I run? 18" or 20"???

All a matter of opinion. Many new vehicles running both those sizes these days. Even though I'm only 30, I usually tend to lean towards old school styles. If my '97 Tahoe didn't already have 18's when I bought it, I probably wouldn't have bigger wheels. That said, I do like them & plan to keep them for a good while. I think 20's are the max size for good looks on these era trucks. I think the 18's on my Tahoe also fit nicely. I have a 4/6 drop as well, & I'm rolling on BOSS 338's. The tires are Cooper Zeon 235/55/18's. I like the fact that they have a little "meat" on them, as this is a daily driver for me too. Not a fan of rubber band tires!

For a daily driver, I'd definitely go with 18s so you can get some taller tires for better sidewall protection.

I'm ole school myself, I had and still have a set of 20's that wear out to fast for a daily driver..In less Cooper tires suck..Just my opinion..I roll in the 15" Rallies...

I like the 17 inch just so I can get plenty of tire on the truck. I don't have any drop on the front of my truck... yet.

Indeed. Personally, I'd go 18's as your front is already going to look high compared to the rear with only a 4" drop and 20's make lowered trucks look not very low, combined I don't think it looks good at all. Then again I don't like big rims either so......
