Sierra Grande Custom CamperTow Truck Junk Yard Finds

Well,

I took some photos of my last Junk Yard finds while visiting Southern California. Here are a few more for your enjoyment. Both were at Ecology. The Tow Truck was still complete when I got to it. The GMC had just gotten off the fork lift and a guy was pulling the tach dash and tilt column I took a few lights off the tow truck and a couple of A/C parts. had to leave the rest and board a plane back shortly after. The bed on the GMC was pretty nice until the dude operating the fork lift beat it to hell. That's what kills me about some of these wrecking yards.

Man,I was hoping to see a Sierra Grande Custom Camper tow truck. Oh well,a couple nice trucks with good parts. Was the applique still on the glovebox door?

Sorry, meant to put a slash in there. Yes the applique was still on the gauge bezel and glove box door.

Heh heh, yeah,I figured that. Not bustin' on you for grammar, just saying what went through my mind. I was thinking if it was all that it would be the nicest dang truck I've ever seen as a wrecker. Sorry you "just missed" that dash and column.

Is that a chrome wheel on the front of the wrecker I see? Man,I could sure use just one of those! I've had a WTB for one for a year or so. I have a friend with a Highlander C/30 factory flatbed that needs it (and I'd like to get that truck away from him)

Yeah, funny thing about the guy that beat me to the dash/column has done it several times! haha. Last time he just got to a Edelbrock Intake/Carb. I think he does it for a living so, I can't blame him. This truck had both chrome front wheels. The yard is the Sante Fe Springs, CA yard.
