How does the glovebox connect?
My 1973 K20 glovebox stays in fine and locks well but when I open it there is nothing holding it in. I can simply pull it out or let it drop to the floor if I wanted. What is it missing that holds it in place?

Re: How does the glovebox connect?
The hinge section on the bottom is broken.
Very common. The entire plastic part of the glovebox is one piece. There is a flange on the bottom of it that's bolted to the lower edge of the dash with four screws. They break when they get old or get overextended. The fix is to buy a new glove box liner. Simple to replace but kind of pricy at nearly 50 bucks. Posted via Mobile Device |

Bad part is if the Parts label is in the glove box, its a pita to replace.
