My 1971 c10 at 95% done. Thoughts?
Here's my 1971 chevy c10 pickup. This truck as gone a long ways, i have over 1000 pictures but dont worry i wont post them all. Heres some info and pictures. For suspension did a 5.5/6 drop, front is western chassis 3.5in drop springs and western chassis 2.5in drop spindles, rear is McGaughys 4in drop springs and 2in lowering blocks. Has toxic drop shocks front and rear. Has porterbuilt bolt in c-notch. Then i had All new brakes front and rear, calipers, routers, pads, brake lines, drums, and axles done. Also has hedman hedders with 2.5in piping into flowmaster super 10 series, thinking about going to some 40 series. I also have built the 350 that was in it when i bought it, its a High performance chevy 350 4 bolt main bored .30 over to a 355, polished forged crank, summit racing re ring and bearing/gasket kit, dura bond cam bearings, summit racing cam 282 duration with .465 lift, summit racing lifters, truck heads completely rebuilt 74cc combustion chambers with LT1 valve springs (going to upgrade heads soon for higher compression), comp cam high energy push rods, comp cam high energy 1.5 ratio rocker arms, Edelbrock performer air gap high rise, Holly 670cfm carb. Sand blasted the whole thing, i did all the metal work and patch panels. Skim coated the whole thing. After hours of sanding i did wanda base coat red and black, then sprayed Lesonal Matte clear coat. Next project is interior and im thinking wide white walls. Whats your guy's comments? questions? opinions?

Re: My 1971 c10 at 95% done. Thoughts?
man, Im really diggin the style your going for.
I like the idea of wide whites, but you might want to photoshop some in a picture or something to just double check thats what you want. Just my opinion but white walls are kind of hit and miss with our trucks. I have a feeling it would be a hit with yours.. but like I said I would just double check and make sure your happy with the look. And really the only reason Im saying that is I was looking at some other posts and cant remember who the guy was, but he kept going back and forth... But he kept buying new tires... Or maybe he had them all just laying around... regardless it just seemed like alot of money to spend cause he couldnt make up your mind...lol
