tiedown hooks in box?

I want to mount some tie down hooks or d-rings in the 4 corners of my 1970 LWB box. Or possibly 3 on each side. Will be used for randomly tying anything down such as cargo net (its now law here that anything in the back of a box needs to be secured, including garbage bags), garden tractor, ATV, furniture, etc. Anyone have some cool ideas or sources for hooks/rings or interesting mounting? I was just thinking of normal surface mount d-ring and ensure they are adequately plated and braced underneath. (I'm talking about on the bed itself, not stake pockets)

OR - anyone put e-track rails or similar in their bed? If the tracks are installed in the lower 'indents' it should be fairly unobtrusive and provide options for tying (light) objects down.

thanks
Matt
