Add a leaf? help me with some questions please

I have a 1985 k10, ( i did the grey rustoleum paint job last summer). The truck sits at stock height, with 33" tires on it. I want a little more height only 2 inches though. I have been looking into the helper springs and add a leaf set ups they have at auto zone, but cant find much info on them. I dont want to go over $200 and would like to hear what you guys have to say about these systems. how bad would they effect ride stiffness, and what not. thank you
sandro.

Re: Add a leaf? help me with some questions please

have add a leafs on my stepside. i didn't notice any change in ride from before, just a little higher.
if your only going 2", might consider blocks or shackle flips. blocks & bolts are cheaper, quicker & waay easier.... i cursed getting the springs out, i cursed taking them apart, cursed bending the spring clamps open, & swore like a mother putting them back in.
shackle flips are right around $200 & little more work, but short of new springs, the best
not a fan of add a leafs in the front, i would rather save my money & get 2" springs. you'll be happier in the long run

or if you want to go a little higher cheaper, Zone Offroad has these
