oil leak

I have a weird oil leak somewhere. I thought it was coming from the valve covers so I got new felpros and put them on. Still see the oil. So I got those spreader things and some longer screws and put them on today. Still leaks.

Its pooling in the intake manifold crevice right under the carb.
You can kind of see it here.

Heres where it is on a plain intake

I also keep seeing a drip on the bottom of the starter.

Could it be anything other than the valve covers? Is there oil going through the intake? could it be cracked? Theres no oil passages above that point is there?

Re: oil leak

Those intake bolts go into the lifter valley and need to be sealed. This is a very common leak point.

Re: oil leak

Try pulling the bolts one at a time, cleaning the threads of the bolt and head with carb cleaner (use the straw off of carb cleaner), dob some thread sealer on the bolts and re assemble. It might save tou from having to pull the intake. If it still leaks you need new gaskets or something is cracked/ broken.
