350 A/C unit and lines

Hey guys, I want to remove the A/C system in my 1978 350 c10. The condenser is toast and I won't use it even to be worth it to fix it. I just want to remove it when doing my rebuild. Are there any tips on discharging the system? And what do I need to do about plugging lines or capping them off?
Thanks
