WTB: Need 6 cyl thermostat housing
I need a 6 cyl thermo housing from a 250, 230, etc. in good condition.
Looking for one without the threaded hole in the top. Pls post or send me an email with pics. Thanks Scott

Re: WTB: Need 6 cyl thermostat housing
I have an extra housing with the thermostat housing, but it has a water port for the heater and water temp sensor. Not sure if its what you need but i'm possibly local if you want to have a look.

Re: WTB: Need 6 cyl thermostat housing
Found it. It does have some pitting where the radiator hose goes on, but some silicone or JB Weld I think would fix it up. Let me know what you think.

Re: WTB: Need 6 cyl thermostat housing
If the one that jabborabbo has does not work out then I might have one. I know I have a housing but not sure if it has the hole for the fitting or not. Let me know if interested.

Re: WTB: Need 6 cyl thermostat housing
ls1nova71, unfortunately after I cleaned up yours it was too far gone, had at least 3 holes & was afraid it might cause problems. Appreciate ur help though.
Not to be picky, but trying to stay original so looking for one without the extra hole. Just a plain jane thermo housing. Thanks to everyones help. Scott

Re: WTB: Need 6 cyl thermostat housing
Here are some pictures. The good news is that there is no hole/ port. The bad news is that it is pitted pretty bad where the hose hooks on like the others.

Re: WTB: Need 6 cyl thermostat housing
Sorry it didn't work, I didn't think the pitting was that deep. Anyway, I had a guy PM me about it, and I told him what had happened and he said he might still be able to use it. Any way you could send it back?
