Just picked up KP components Cantilever 4 link for 88-98
.....gonna see how hard it will be to make it work on my brothers 36 Chevy truck. If it looks like too much fab work to get it to come out right, somebody on here might get a good deal on a pretty slick setup.

Re: Just picked up KP components Cantilever 4 link for 88-98
It was made for the 1500 exclusively.
I would be happy to just have the link bars and brackets as well as the panhard bar setup. I don't plan on bagging my truck just hoping to gain some traction. I would use adjustable coil overs for my truck. Also I have to add that anything can be made to fit it's just do you really want to chop something like that up? I am not positive but isn't the 36 truck frame a bit narrower than the later models? I haven't actually looked at one in years. Last older truck that I laid hands on the underneath of was a 55. P.S. pics of truck you are wanting to install this in are mandatory

Re: Just picked up KP components Cantilever 4 link for 88-98
OrangeAnimal-- the KP system will not be chopped up in any way. I couldn't bring myself to mess up something that nice. If anything will be modded it will be the frame and axles. That is a good thought to just use the four link and panhard with coil overs if air is not desired.
My guess is that the frame of the 36 is a lot narrower. I'm hauling the kit up to NC in a couple weeks so we will see what we're up against then. ![]() I will see if my bro has any pics of the truck...last time I saw it it was in pieces everywhere. It was a distant relatives project that he just collected parts on for 30 years before he passed. Posted via Mobile Device |

Decided to sell this setup. No room for the cantilever to fit in the rear fenders and too much fabwork and time my bro doesnt have with a new kid. Posted In the classifieds now.
