What year did the face opening was 4 1/2 X 2 1/2? I got a rebuilt radio for my 84 Silverado and the radio hole for the face on the radio is too big to fit. When did the size of the face hole change from big to smaller or smaller to bigger? I guess I will need to get a another dash bezel with the bigger hole. Has to be 81-87 with the bigger hole for the face of the radio. Thanks

you need a dash kit for your make and model. they are like 20 bucks at the best buy...

I do not understand what you are saying. The hole on my 84 Silverado dash bezel is too small for the 80's radio I won. Not sure what year radio it is. I need an 80's bezel that has a bigger opening for the face of the radio. Just do not know what year had the bigger hole in the bezel. 4 1/2 X 2 1/2" size.

I just found out that the face does not stick through the hole. I thought it did. My bad.
