Rear window sliding
I'm new to this forum, but great stuff thus far! I've got an '83 Silverado and the rear window slides open, but its tough to slide. Any suggestions to ease the sliding process? Cleaning or lubing tips?

Re: Rear window sliding
clean & lube the track, also check that the track rails aren't bent in. my mastiff, leaning in the cab all the time bent the window frame inward, pinching on the window

Any suggestions for a type of lube to use on the track?

Re: Rear window sliding
If you followed dieseldawg's advice and the track rails are square and plumb, use silicone (not WD-40!) and see how that works. If there isn't much of an improvement, head over to your local hardware store and get the lube they use for the sliding glass doors in your house. I believe it has beeswax in it. Works like a charm.
