Calif wild fires
The wild fires in Nor Cal have claimed one of our own kind, no peple hurt as of yet, this one was in Georgetown, the fire is out as of now.

Hey Rich were you saying it's out or out of control? That "Rim Fire" has been looking pretty bad. We're supposed to go to Twainharte on Thursday but have no idea if it would even be possible. Good to see that no one has been hurt. Hate to see the damage to the old iron and other property though. Keeping all the firefighters in our thoughts.

Sad loss.
As of this morning, the fire is no where near under control. Our local community has sent several crews to assist, as have many others. All we can do is pray that they can get on top of it.

That Georgetown fire was about a mile from my brothers house.
His daughter's boyfriend, Jay, is a hotshot fighting the rim fire right now. He hasn't had much rest this season.

Yeah, I was just talking to my folks in Arnold. They said that the smoke is up there and. its all the way to the ground. I'm only out of a couple days of boating. There's a bunch of people that are out so much more. My thoughts are with them
