locked seat belts
So that new seat I got for the 65 fits the truck great but im having a small issue involving the seat belts.they seem to be locked in as in they won't move so you can put them on.are they like a trick to getting them unstuck so I can use them? They are from a 96-01 dodge ram with the built in seat belts

Re: locked seat belts
You may need to pull them straight up S L O W L EY
you need to pull the belt in a smooth motion.

Re: locked seat belts
they are inertia reel belts so they have a pendulum in them that locks when they are tipped forward (like under heavy braking). They are likely tilted enough that the pendulum is locked. try taking the seat loose and tilting it back and forth until the seatbelt unlocks
