questions about 2000 suburban 2500
http://lubbock.craigslist.org/cto/4035430009.html
lookin at possibly getting this. one thing i noticed tho is it has the interior from the facelift of the previous gen. did they make the gmt800 with this interior? also, with that many miles, is it worth the cheap price? i know its 4wd even tho its not listed. I'm lookin to sell my heavily optioned 71 sierra grande, gonna try to get it started this weekend. is 3000 obo a good price for a big block SG with factory air, factory buckets, and many others, with a few spots rusted through and no windshield? also the door latch seems to be rusted shut and i cant get it open, so theres that too.... Love to see some responses soon! |

As far as I know, they never put OBS dashes in NBS trucks. It has a NBS column in it. Odd combination.

well i know for sure that thats the interior of the facelifted gmt400, cause of that center console and the 4x4 buttons on the right side.

Re: questions about 2000 suburban 2500
i honestly think thats not the interior of the truck. cuz from the outside, it has a steering wheel cover, and on the inside, there isnt one, plus theres something hanging from the mirror. idk, if i get the money in time, ill probably just go look at it. though i might trade my truck for an 85 diesel silverado 4x4 manual.

Yea, that's strange, must have found a "matching" interior pic for it online and used it instead of an actual pic.

Re: questions about 2000 suburban 2500
That's what I'm thinking! Lubbocks pretty about that kinda stuff. Just the other day I found a guy try a sell a 98 grand Prix for 10k with 180k miles sayin it was a "gtx ram air" and was in excellent condition. There were scratches and paint defects, the gtx looked like it was just slapped on, there was no ram air hood, and it had the base model wheels. Not to mention he only put one pic...

Re: questions about 2000 suburban 2500
Have you seen this truck in person? looking at the left door on the inside portion of it it looks red. It could have come off of a red truck that did not get trimmed out up there or it could be somebody selling several trucks and got his pics mixed up, it is not hard to do if trying to manage several truck listings and deal with some of the people on c-list. And the thing about your BB GMC sounds like your selling your self a little short or even maybe a lot short. I would depend if it is a 3/4 ton or 1/2 ton or long or short if it is the latter you have just went into big money levels even in a sluggish economy. Oh by the way I have junked out some 3/4 ton stuff just in case you buy the suburban and need to keep that in mind, that stuff for the most part lasts forever. good luck on the sale. Jim

Re: questions about 2000 suburban 2500
If you look at the pic through the back window you can see where the dash has the mid drop that NBS's have and OBS's don't. The pics were also taken in different places. Definitely not the same truck.
