Re: 1971 GSA short fleet...oh no not again...
OK...15 months have passed and the parts have remained basically unchanged until this week...Last weekend we moved the cab to My dads' house and he started building up the doors with Robbys' assistance. Robby and I also removed all of the rear suspension. We painted everything, and installed new bushings, springs, and shocks. The front suspension is now coming apart for the spindles and springs, along with new ball joints. I will get some frame pictures tomorrow to post!

The cab is awesome! I was fortunate to get it! You don't see them anywhere near as nice as it here in the rust belt...lol

Re: 1971 GSA short fleet...oh no not again...
With some help from a few friends today, we got the cab on the frame. I forgot how heavy it was...

Looking good. What paint color is that?

The paint looks super nice, I can't wait to see the front clip on it.

Re: 1971 GSA short fleet...oh no not again...
It is Victory Red used on the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. It really does look good but the cab was painted about a year and a half ago. It has been inside the whole time so fading shouldn't be an issue, but the paint shop changed from water based to solvent free so it will be interesting to see if the colors match...lol
