leafspring bushings removal and install

Hey all ... I have a 91 chevy c1500 that im replacing the leafspring bushings. I purchased the energy suspension replacement bushings for the leafsprings. The old rubber bushings came out good but the problem im having is that the new bushings are a bit too wide and having a hard time getting them in. Has anyone ever replaced theres with the energy suspension brand and if so got any suggestions. Does the new bushing replace the old one and the sleeve? You should beable to put the bushing in the old sleeve right? I cant see the new bushing riding against the leaf but i could be wrong i guess. anyway thanks for any help

Re: leafspring bushings removal and install

Cut the old sleeves out and they fit like a glove
