I've heard plenty of stories where people bought a HF tool and it was bad right outa the box - however, I must say that my luck has been 99% success with satisfaction. I don't set my expectations as high as I would for a Craftsman or other brand. I burned up 3 of their grinders - but I did get as much use out of them for what I paid.

Re: Wonderful tool! Worth every penny!
Found out today it works good for removing the old dried up caked on grass off the bottom of lawn mower decks too...

Re: Wonderful tool! Worth every penny!
When I read this I thought the tool looked cool and watching Lugnutz build I trust his judgement. So of course I get the HF 20% email today and bam, tool is ordered and on its way. Wish I would have had it for the frame clean up instead of looking like a porcupine with wires sticking out of me from the wire wheel.
One thing I noticed on the HF reviews, a lot of people said to treat it like a nail gun relating to oiling, 3-5 drops before and after each use. Some guys have had theirs for years using that approach. Thanks again for the tip!!

Re: Wonderful tool! Worth every penny!
I bought one of those little needle scalers for work, and loved it.
Then a larger version that screws onto your air hammer went on sale, so I bought it for me (Princess Auto - the Harbor Freight of Canada). It was FANtastic!! I could go about an hour and a half before my arms would go numb. I wore ear plugs AND ear muffs to block out the sound, and was still surprised at how loud it runs. I de-scaled the back half of a '77 Chevy, as well as the underside of the box. I love them.
