(2) reel out underhood lights

I am selling these reel out underhood lights, both were recently removed from 1990 Suburbans. These lights will fit all 88-94 GM full size trucks, and 88-91 Blazers, Suburbans, and one tons I believe. This trouble light mounts under the hood on the firewall above and to the right of the heater or AC/heater box for the '73-87 pickups & '73-91 Blazer & Suburban models. On the '88-94 new body style trucks, this light would mount on the passenger side inside front fender. Simple two wire hookup (12v. & negative) and it has approximately 17 feet of reel-out cable. The back of this light and its mounting surface is perfectly flat making it an easy install and neat upgrade to older vehicles as well.

I have TWO of these. I am asking $15 each plus $5 shipping...making it a total of $20 to your door.

Please reply here (73-87 parts board), no e-mails or PM's..that way I can track who was first and second in line.

Thanks!

I had one of these I put on my 69. Comes in handy. Can go all the way to the rear tire on a short bed. I am going to put it on the truck when it's done. Saved my butt a few times.

I actually have another that is going in Yeller when I get to that point. It makes an awesome tool if you have a flat at night, need to check your oil, or need light in a dark space.

Does it just bolt right up or will I need to drill some holes?

You have to make it fit, they were only available in 98 or so trucks. I made a plug for it, and then mounted it against the inside of the passenger fender, next to the battery. I then hooked it to the lug on the fender for the + battery terminal (with a fuse) and there you go. The place I used to work had a ton of them. We had a box of maybe 20-30, I wish we hadn't thrown them out. The owners dad worked for GM at a Service Parts wharehouse, so they had them all over. He would bring us bags of stuff, mostly junk, but sometimes cool stuff.

Like jmanz69 said, they are pretty easy to hook up...all you need is a flat spoy on your fender, core support, or firewall. Two wire hookup makes it easy too.

These were used on 88-94 GM trucks, and 88-91 Blazers, Burbs, and one tons.
