My building is going so slow on the 48 that I would have to post a "life gets in the way" thread. This 'easy" engine swap in my 71 is eating my time and extra cash to the point I can't even think about getting back on the 48.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around. |

My '54 cab is upside down on a rotisserie, the '67 cab still rests on its frame but nothing else is there, an old BMW motorcycle is on the lift and almost street-ready, an old Triumph Trident is in the corner just waiting its turn, bed parts, fenders, doors, and hoods for two stepsides are everywhere, etc., etc. I have loads of pictures to organize into build threads someday but it won't be real soon. And my wife keeps hinting that the house needs my attention.
