Possible to lower my 87 and keep the 30.5" tires??

Just bought new tires for my 87 and was curious if a 2.5/4 drop would still allow the 30.5" tires to fit. If not, i will just keep it stock height. Any opinions of feedback would be great. Thanks!

I have a C20 with 265/70/16's a 31 inch tire, and I can do a 2/3 easily. Maybe even a 3/4.

It depends a lot on if you rim/tire will tuck to the inside of your truck. Then if your new ride height will allow enough suspension travel for what you do.

Good points. Rims are stock rally wheels. Drop would be spindles and shackles. No off roading either. Just a daily driver.

Would be great if I could still drop the truck with the larger tires. Would be a good look to me.

I have 29.5 inch tires on a C20 and I dropped the back 6 inches with more room to go

Aside from being possible, anybody think it will look bad being lowered with the larger tires? Thanks for all of the opinions and feedback!

No, unless the tires poke out past the fenders or you run serious off road tread.

Shouldnt stick out and the tires are Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires. Not an aggressive tread pattern at all.
