I know the feeling I got a complete good cab for $100 had it sandblasted but ended up selling it cause I just couldn't do it (but I did keep the driver door matches my cab perfect)

I spoke with my dad a bit ago: he assured me that all one would have to do to remove the bed would be to take off the 4 nuts and jack up the entire bed to remove it from the frame. He said he did it once by himself (apparently after he plug welded it). Talk about "previous owner mods!"

So that's a relief.
