I just ordered a kit from Vintage Air, if you want to wait a couple of weeks I will be able to provide you with insight on how simple the install is and how well the kit works. I can't wait to get it, it was around 100 today here and I'm daily driving the truck right now!!

with all the units ive installed, VA is my #1 choice, their gen4 magnum is all electric and keeps things cool... as for the installs, ive done mostly their universal kits, but ive done their sure fit kits too, and i gota say the installs are easy to do, and well documented....
i see the unit you get, and it probley will work for ya, but my not keep the cab coooooold...good luck and keep us posted on the install

I looked thru some threads and everybody says an underdash unit like this will FREEZE you ! my truck cab is nice and tight , I would think that this unit will cool it to the point you will have to turn it down ! but if it dont it dont we will see ,,,,

Bringing this old thread back up, Did this work out for you? I want to order the same unit for my 69, Non AC cab. If this keeps it cold, I would like to get the underdash for now. Thanks!
