60-63 Gauge Cluster Bezel Color?

I'm restoring a '60-63 cluster and want to paint the bezel the right color. I know it was white but was it off white, or pure white, or?? It looks off white but I'm not sure if its just aged or if that's the right color. Also, were the letters on the lens white or the same light green that is on '64-66 clusters?

ive only seen the 60-63 numbers in either white or a silvery/chrome finish. im not sure if you got the chrome color w/deluxe package or not. my current bezel is chrome now, but was a pure white originally. a little sanded from the air blowing through the vent wings, but a very clean white

ill have to go out and look in the morning to see what color my vacuum guage and tach are...i think they have a green tint to them

Thanks, the letters were white-ish before I removed the paint from the lens. The faces of the individual gauges do have green lettering just like 64-66 clusters.
