Color of underside of hood?

After doing a fair bit of research (I started the thread originally) it looks like they all were black with varying amounts of overspray. In my case I don't have any overspray now, but that's OK, it's not an NCRS truck.

I think the onus on anyone with a body-colored truck would be to prove it came that way; even an otherwise "original paint" truck could have have autobody repair to the hood.

Unless we discover that one factory (there were several that built these) did it different than the others, I suppose.
