Help With Grille Removal

I have a 1966 Chevy C10 and I need to remove the grille so that I can straighten a dent and repaint it..
I looked all over the grille and could not see any way to remove it without remove the whole front body.
I can’t believe that is what I have to do to simply remove the grille.

So before a either start ripping parts off or just give up, I thought I would ask those far more experienced than I am .

Is there a simple way to remove the front grille or am I screwed?

unbolts from the back, easy peasy. changed out my 65 grille for a 63 in about 12 minutes flat. you dont even need to take the headlights apart, it all stays together.

3 bolts each side from inside the fender well, 2 at the outside 1 inside lower. They will be hard to see and covered with dirt slung up from the tire, thats why you can't find them! You can see the threads from the front right behind the headlight to the outside, and the lower one just under the grille to the inside of the headlight. Spray em down with liquid wrench, they'll be rusty

X2... Just slide under the front of your truck near the front wheel and look up at the open space where the back of the headlight would be and you will see them if not caked with dirt. I'm right down 146 from you if you need a hand just shoot me a p.m.. Hope this Helps......
