converting to 5 lug

ok, i want to convert my 67' from 6 lug drums to 5 lug disc. I am going to pull all of the front stuff (spindles, rotors and such) off one of my other trucks, but was wondering about the rear end. can i just swap over axles, or do i have to swap the entire rear end. I am already set up with 3.73 and a posi so i don't really want to swap the whole rearend , but if i have to i will. thanks

Just swap in the rear axle assembly from a '71-72. When you convert to 5-lug discs on the front, you're gonna add about an inch to the front track. Since your signature shows you have some donor vehicles, you shouldn't have a problem getting the parts you need.

swapping the axles will only work if you have a 70. otherwise find a new(used) 5 lug axle or swap oen from your 71-72
