Anyone ever think about mounting one of these on a burb?

I had actually thought about this before, but mine will sit too low. It would be awesome if somebody does this.

I know the ones that come with Explorers and Mountaineers are electric and very trouble prone in New England weather. I have replaced a couple with fixed running boards for customers.

I was just thinking about that last week with my brother-in-law. He does body and paint, he told me that behind the rocker area its too shallow to mount the device.
