59' Apache project truck
Hey guys ,
Love this forum , long time lurker first time poster. Im working on a 59 apache fleetside I finally found at a estate sale. It had a 350 in it and was running and driving. I let it sit in the shop for almost 2 years and now trying to get it done. The plan was to get it done for the SEMA show out in Las vegas , but a few other projects took a little longer than expected and we are still waiting on the wheels and tires to be built. Heres a rendering of what its supposed to look like. Heres a few bullet points of the build , I could use alot of advice and or tips on how to make some of the details work. btw , we call em mater of course. - 6.2 Ls3 crate engine - 6 speed trans - 22x10 front and 24x15 rear wheels - Vintage patina paint job - dakota digital vhx gauges - hyrdatech brake kit - brembo big brakes - magnaflow exhaust - Oracle led tailights and HID retrofit headlights - Bucket seats - 73' fullsize chevy front clip |

Re: 59' Apache project truck
Hey gang , As with a lot of our truck projects... here we are a year later, haven't touched the 59 since October, Obviously he didn't make it to viva Las Vegas. We had 2 ZL1 Camaro builds to complete , which took every waking hour to finish. We widened both of them about 2.5" on each side from the door to taillight, came out beautiful. The rear wheels are 22x13 , on Pirelli 335/30.22
Truck build is back on ! We changed out the Silverado clip to a 80 monte carlo and we are well underway. It couldn't have came out looking more oem. My buddies from Halo Super Cars are helping make sure he gets done this year. |
