73-87 Engineering Drawings of Frame???
Something I have never come across, and I thought this would be the best place to ask. Has anyone found drawings of the 73-87 Frame, long or short bed? Some type of scale drawing with dimensions? I was thinking about trying to create my own drawing in AutoCad or Solid works, but thought I would ask before spending the effort. The reason I ask is because for my next project, I would like to create my own custom frame from scratch, but having a detailed drawing of the stock frame would be a great place to start. Any input???

You could PM Keith Seymore, he might be able to give you some dimensions on it. He actually worked in the plant assembly while our trucks were being built. That's about the only suggestion I got.

Body Builders Books, on ebay and amazon. These have everything frame and body and electrical on the trucks so that "after body" equipment companies know what they are working with.

Wow...I seen that same book on amazon a few months back. I seriously thought it was gonna be a bunch of pictures of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the '80s. This book would help out in a bunch of ways.
