one more question

can you take the guts out of a 69 door and put in a 72 door and just fill in the extra hole under the vent window on the 72? Thanks

I would use the screw instead of filling it. They put it there for added support.
I think you'd have to drill holes in order to install the older style panel...but I am unsure.

My passenger door is a 72 . I filled the hole for the screw and had to weld nuts to the bottom of the door to be able to bolt the door panel in . It can be done and no one would know the difference
