My budget factory location tach on my 71 swb
Hello everyone I already posted in the intro thread but I thought I would post my latest addition to my truck. For starters this truck is a play toy for me and my 4 year old son. Mostly for grocery store runs and burnouts. Lol. It currently has a 300 horse 327 swap and a Muncie, but this winter it is getting a 408 sbc and power glide with a trans brake. We are going to try to stay with the sleeper vibe as much as possible so that is why I took the tach off the windshield pillar and put it down in the dash. What do you think?
And here is the truck it's in Posted via Mobile Device |

Cool. I've been really contemplating doing the exact same thing. Did you have to re-wire the back panel? If you took any pictures of the process or could share any more, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Nice! Center line-of-sight! perfect. I like your plan for a fire breathing sleeper.

I'm actually going go take it back apart to replace a couple light bulbs that I forgot to replace, I'll snap some pics while I'm there.
