Jordan's 68
After a while of C-10 dreaming I jumped on a Craigslist add and picked up a 68GMC shortbed. After a few texts and quick phone calls the race was on to beat out the other potential buyers. The seller was flooded with inquiries and his inbox was full of prospective buyers wanting to check it out on the weekend. Now the hard part... I had to convince my dad to make the 4 hour round trip that night after a 10 hour work day. My cousin helped me explain to my dad what "first come first serve" meant and convinced him to pack up the tool box and make the trek. After a quick inspection with flash lights and test drive, we struck a deal and made the white knuckle drive home from Santa Paula CA.
Pros: Pretty straight, minimal rust, small block, 700R4, power brakes, clean title Cons: Running on 7 cylinders, running super rich, oil leaks, wiring is fried, trans tail shaft is leaking like crazy, diff is also leaking pretty bad My neighbors are scratching there heads and I'm pretty sure they're starting a committee to band my truck. Sketchy.. |

Re: Jordan's 68
Looks like a Chevrolet. Nice aluminum foil fuse, too. Used to call them a "no blow".
