Modified rear wheel wells with raised bed floor
I raised my trucks bed floor after bagging my 71. Does anyone have any good pictures of how they cut and modified their rear wheel wells on a fleetside truck? Just looking at my setup, I only need about half the height of my current wheel wells. I just want to see what other people have done before I start cutting up good wheel wells.
Thanks |

Check out Luifer's thread in the 73-87 build section. He did just what you are looking to do.

Re: Modified rear wheel wells with raised bed floor
Sorry those are the only pics I have how short they are depends on the distance between the bed floor and the bed rail. I used 2 sets 4 wheel tubs to make 1 set 2 wheel tubs that were on that truck I also widened them about 4 inches for tire clearance.
