Brake Pedal Ratio for a 1967 with factory brake pedal?
Okay i need to know the Brake Pedal Ratio for a 1967 chevy truck. Mine is torn apart and I need to know the Brake Pedal Ratio in order to figure out what Master Cylinder to run with my Z06 brake calipers.
Thanks in advance.

Should be 6 to 1. Measure it! Full length divided by distance from top to pushrod hole.

It probably depends too on if your truck was originally power or manual brakes. I don't have anything for '67, but I do have the brake system release charts for '74 and for '87. Scan through there to get a feel for the numbers. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=510519 Looks like most of them are around either 4.5:1 or 6:1. K

While you're at it drill another hole 1 1/2 inches below the other pushrod hole. It's needed for power brakes because the ratio needs to change to 4.5 to 1. |
