This is a gorgeous steering wheel and horn button. The wheel has some cracks and nicks, which is to be expected, but it is overall in excellent shape. It's a real nice treat to have the original horn button and internal horn parts too! Sorry, I won't split them up.

Will ship to lower US 48 only.

Yeah, it was still in tact and in decent shape. According to the logos on the doors, it was an old phone company truck

The hole on the steering wheel where it mounts, sure seems the same size as a 67-72, but I can't be 100% sure. How about I make you a deal. Go ahead and pay for the item plus shipping. If you find that it doesn't fit, I'll refund the purchase price, minus shipping. I'll just trust you and let you keep it without shipping back to me, if it doesn't fit.

Yeah,that's different. More like a normal utility bed,not the custom Bell bodies. The trucks with the Bell bodies were SWB 1/2Ts. This one was a more specialized truck being a heavier truck with different equipment. A piece of history,for sure.I saw a ford the same vintage at an antique truck show last weekend.

My Dad drove a telephone truck just like this one from 1947-53. for Mountain Bell in Kaysville Utah. The phone company used 1/2 ton trucks with 3speed transmissions and loaded them up with over a ton of equipment. Dad went through a lot of clutches. 35 years service.
