how do you convert a 4WD sm465 to 2WD?
I guess this would be a good question for the divorced TFC / doubler guys, I got a 4x4 unit and can get a 2wd tailhouse, how hard is it--do I have to swap out the main rear shaft?

Mainshaft swap is in order, with it you'll probably need a rear yoke and some speedo parts. Damn near have to completely take the whole trans apart, then strip the mainshaft of all the gears and syncro hubs

Get a 2wd trans. Remove. Replace.
