Out with the old in with the new

Took out the old tired 283 and put in a hot rod 350 today.

The motor is in but not all hooked up yet. Took a long time getting the two bolts in the motor mounts lined up. I see why some of the steel motor mount holes are torched out bigger.

I sure had fits with mine. I wish I had the forethought to drill the holes in the towers bigger before I sat the engine in place. With a washer under the bolt heads and a larger opening it would have saved hours of struggling.
