As long as it's not from a 235 six it will. Remember a 350 can tear up a 3 speed if you beat on it. Be sure to check your pilot bushing on your 350 too.

depends on which model 3 speed your running as to how much it will take. there are a few hd models that will handle quite a bit. muncie had a 7 bolt 3 speed that was tough as any four speed and the borg warner t-16 was used by gm behind factory big blocks in 66-68 ss cars. the borg was also used in gmc trucks in some hd 68 applications and many dirt track drivers favor the saginaw 3 speed. corvette used a muncie 3 speed for quite a few years too.

make sure to check the front bearing retainer on the trans to make sure it will fit into the bellhousing.

i have a 350 with 375hp in front of a 3 speed with overdrive. It takes every bit of the power no problem. lots of fun too

Here are some pics of a Muncie 7 bolt main case that popped up on ebay awhile back. I saved the pics as the transmissions rarely pop up. Do you have any pics of the completed trans?
This particular trans came out of a 69 Camaro with the 302 option

And its been posted before, but my borg warner t-16 which was a factory big block 3 speed transmission for the 396 & 427 applications.
