Finally Got Around To Decoding my Engine Block
V0218TRJ on the front pad.
Cast in Saginaw, assembled in Flint, Feb. 18th, 1972, 350 ci, 4-bbl, 175-hp, 4-bolt main, used on C-20 and C-30s Also found 010 020 171. From my research 010 and 020 are for the higher tin and higher nickel blocks but does anybody know what the 171 would designate? I've got the protect-o-plate and need to cross-reference that as well with the castings I've found. Thanks!

I researched several sites to verify.
