Search exersize
I'm DONE trying to do a search on restoring my vent windows. The search function doesn't seem to like any of the words I've used like 'vent', 'window', 'restore' or any other articulate word. Wait . . . . I can't do another search for 37 seconds. Anybody got any info or insight into the topic of 'vent window restoration'? Thank you

Re: Search exersize
Anytime I ever search for something regarding this board I'll use google and add 67-72 to the search terms. Typically finds more results than using the search function on here.
Are you looking for tips, parts, retailers, etc? I have a set I'm not going to put back on my truck. |

Re: Search exersize
Perhaps you are just not searching in the correct spot.
Here you go sir. I found it very helpful and I have been at there store in Lebanon, OR. These guys drive the trucks they deal with and are very educated in the subject. Good luck, T

Re: Search exersize
Make sure you're clicking on the little circle that says "67-72chevytrucks.com".....
If not, it searches the whole web, not the website.

Re: Search exersize
Thanks guys. I was searching this site because I seem to remember that a member had provided detailed steps on a DIY method for rebuilding/restoring/rehabbing the vent windows on his truck. I'm doing a resto mod and my vent windows need a complete do-over that I want to do myself (perhaps I'm being stupid). I've tore 1 window down to see how it was made/assembled and I'm keeping the other as is to use as a model, but I've got some questions on the rivets in the assembled window, which is what started my search. Anybody remember the DIY discussion?

Re: Search exersize
whats really terrible is the trucks for sale section. The whole thing needs to be reworked. Crap from 2006 at the top of the page makes it useless.
