Patch panels & sheet metal

I was just browsing around the internet and I found a supplier I have not heard of before that sounds interesting. Has anybody dealt with or know anything about AMD (Auto Metal Direct)? I believe they are out of Georgia. They claim to have better fitting parts than other suppliers but I've heard that before. Chime in if you have any info.

AMD sells TriPlus truck panels ,although they do make their own panels for some applications ,Camaro ,Mopar etc. If you are ever in Georgia they have a huge warehouse stocked with all kinds of parts as well as some nice cars on inside display .Its a cool place to visit .

Yeah, I saw pics on their website and I know that most parts from the many suppliers out there come from Triplus and one or two others. I just wanted to know it anybody had actually bought from them and what their experience was as far as quality and customer service.

Customer service is great ,I have bought a new cowl hood ,new grill shell and grill and a few other small parts .The parts seem to be very nice but Im still waiting for the bodyshop to get that far along to see how well fit is .

Look at Top Banana for replacement panels. Far cheaper than anyone else I have found and shipping is much more reasonable. Good customer service, fast shipping. They drop ship from Keyparts and they seem to make decent stuff. I'm sure its china but most are.

Also check out FIXMYRUST.com I ordered patch panels from them a while back & was happy with the service & products they offered. They sell Tri-plus also.....got a better deal on shipping then anywhere else.

I agree with the above. Only beef I have is that my order had 1 item on backorder - but they never explained this to me and never returned my phone calls. I had to call and pretend to place an order before I got through to a real person who could explain that the item was backordered. So Top Banana gets a "no-a-peel" award from me on customer service.
Prices are the cheapest around AND shipping for me (East Coast) was best I'd found too. Just my 2 cents.

When we were working on a buddies Camaro, he went ahead and got a dealer account with Goodmark for all our sheetmetal needs. Everything I've gotten from them has been as good or better than OE. While not the cheapest retail, buying direct makes it so worth the $50 Oregon business license we needed to get a dealer account.

<edit> I have no idea if Goodmark makes their own panels, but I was under the impression that they did.

Goodmark is known to supply good panels, but I don't believe they offer anything for these trucks.
